This April at Book Bloggers International, I organized an entire month of posts dedicated to comics and graphic novels.
- Jenn from The Picky Girl shared her experiences teaching comics as part of an English lit course, and made her own comic strip to illustrate!
- The unstoppable Andi and Heather of Dewey's Readathon fame told us about webcomics that have made it into trade.
- Candace from Beth Fish Reads on how she learned to stop worrying and love the C-word (comics, that is!).
- Alex from Sleepless Reader wrote about a very cool-sounding Franco-Belgian comic called Cities of the Fantastic.
- Kailana of the Written World updated her famous, definitive guide to the epic comic series, Fables.
- Tif from Tif Talks Books listed some pretty kick-ass comic book kids.
- Belle of Ms Bookish told us why Saga is the perfect series for graphic novel newbies.
- Ana of things mean a lot gave us her favorite female comic book characters.
- Kai from Fiction State of Mind shared some tips for getting the most out of Free Comic Book Day.
- The awesome Memory from In the Forest of Stories told us why Sandman is the best thing ever.
- Chris from Bookarama reviewed An Age of License by graphic memoir favorite, Lucy Knisley.
- And last but definitely not least, Ryan from Wordsmithonia wrote about his obsession with the vintage comic character, Doctor Strange.
Thanks to all the contributors for making last month such a success! Rock on!
